Come and Learn – a FREE screening of A Plastic Ocean on Tuesday, July 25 at 4:30 PM at the Surfside Library.
Stopping the use of single use plastic – bottles, bags, straws, disposable cups and cutlery, are the easiest way to cut down on plastic in the ocean. Plastic in the ocean is killing our sea creatures and poisoning our fish, which in turn will poison us. If this does not stop, in 2050 there will be more plastic in our oceans than fish! This documentary is an eye opener! The screening on Tuesday includes guest speakers and a question & answer forum. If you cannot make this event, be sure to watch on Netflix.
