Everyone is invited to attend the Myrtle Beach Black Juneteenth and Black History Celebration! The Historic Myrtle Beach Colored School will celebrate and honors seven “unsung heroes” for their contributions. The honorees included Myrtle Beach former City Manager Tom Leath, Photojournalist Janet Morgan, Mrs. Betty Richardson, and Mr. Docshee Moore.

The event is set for 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 18, 2021, at the Mary C. Canty Recreation Center, 971 Canal Street. The attire is African Print/Bold Colors.

Come out and enjoy FREE food and live entertainment.
