The South Carolina deadline to register to vote in the Democratic Presidential Primary on Feb. 29 is fast approaching, so if you have not yet registered, there’s no time to waste.
Are you Bonkers for Biden or do you Feel the Bern? Perhaps you are Koo-Koo for Klobuchar or maybe you’re Wild for Warren. You may be Mad for (former) Mayor Pete or Yowsa for Yang. You may want to Bet on Booker or Book it on Bloomberg. You can even Stay with Steyer or Go with Gabbard. You can be a Bennett Backer or even Put Your Faith in Patrick.
Whoever is your choice, if you’re not registered in time, you won’t be able to vote for your candidate. So, here’s a reminder of some very important dates:
January 30 is the final day to register to be eligible to vote in the Democratic primary. It’s also the day when mail-in and in-person absentee voting begins at the Board of Elections office in Conway.
February 29 (That’s no typo. It’s a Leap Year, and yes, it’s a Saturday) is the South Carolina Democratic Primary.

“This is the most consequential election in our lifetime,” said HCDP Chair Don Kohn. “Selecting our party’s nominee for the presidency is a vitally important decision, much too important to let someone else decide. So, let your voice be heard.”
