May 11 | Monday – Voter registration submitted by mail must be postmarked by this date. Note: Because mail from Horry County is now processed in Columbia, and the date of processing will be the date it is processed there, allow at least one extra week to make the deadline. If possible, get a postmark at the post office counter with the date you delivered the mail, or send it certified. Retain your receipt.

May 27 | Wednesday – Take a Friend to Vote Day. Help your family, friend, or neighbor catch this opportunity to vote a Democratic Primary ballot.
May 28 | 12 noon – Stroll to the Poll Day. Meet at the HCDP office, 311C Beaty Street, at 12:00 pm and walk to the Voter Registration and Elections early voting site at 1515 4th Avenue. We will have bagpipe accompaniment for this four-block stroll. Bring your downloaded sample ballot, voter registration photo ID, and, if you like, your own brown bag lunch to eat back at the HCDP office. Or grab your friends and stroll to the early voting site closest to you on your own schedule.
