All Democratic candidates for county, state and federal office who will appear on the November 8 ballot in Horry County are now featured on the Horry County Democratic Party website.
“This expanded on-line resource is designed to encourage Horry County voters to engage with the individuals running for office,” according to Bennie Swans, Horry County Democratic Party Chair. “We want voters to understand the ideas and solutions that Democratic candidates represent.”
“Our Candidates” introduces all Democratic candidates on the ballot. The individual candidate pages provide contact information, biographies and, where available, links to social media and information on the candidate’s platform. Links for presidential and vice presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine go directly to their websites.
“Our Elected Officials” has been expanded to include state and federal officials in addition to the Horry County officials already shown on that page.
Both pages feature “Find Your Voting District” — a link to the statewide voter registry where voters can affirm their voting districts and determine which officials will be on their ballot in November.
