Absentee Voting In Horry County

The Horry County Democratic Party would like to remind everyone that there are four in-person absentee voting locations open this election year. Voters can cast their ballots at any of these locations, during opening hours, through November 2, 2020.

Photo ID is required to vote at all of these locations. It is recommended to practice social distancing, wear a mask and bring hand sanitizer and your own pen.

Follow the correct procedure for the voting machines and review your ballot before placing it in the scanner.

Locations and Opening Hours

Voter Registration Office

1515 4th Avenue, Conway

Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm; Saturday 10/24 and 10/31 9am to 1pm

 

Satellite location hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am to 4:00pm.

North Strand Recreation Center

120 State Hwy 57 S., Little River

 

South Strand Recreation Center

9650 Scipio Lane, Myrtle Beach

 

Carolina Forest Library

2250 Carolina Forest Blvd, Myrtle Beach

Mail-In Ballot Drop Boxes

All four in-person absentee voting locations have drop boxes for voters, staffed by poll workers, who want to drop off completed ballot packets. Poll workers who will be collecting Authorization to Return Absentee Ballot forms when ballot packets are dropped off by anyone other than the voter. An authorization form is required for each ballot being dropped off. An ID will be required only when dropping off ballots that are not yours.

A witness signature is required on the outside envelope of a completed ballot packet. Ballots without the witness signature will not be counted.
