HCDP Online Account Security Policy

Please review the information below, then date and sign that you agree and will abide by this policy.

  • Do not set up any new online accounts using HCDP’s name, logo, or likeness without prior approval from Party Chair.
  • Do not share passwords or HCDP online accounts with anyone that is not authorized to use them.
  • Do not send passwords in email. Use Privnote, in person, or over the phone.
  • Do not change the main password to any shared accounts.
  • Always store passwords in a secure location.
  • Be extra cautious using HCDP online accounts while using a shared computer, laptop, tablet, or mobile device.
  • Do not store passwords into memory on shared device.
  • Do not share HCDP subscriber data with anyone.
  • Avoid using HCDP online accounts on a friend’s computer or on a work computer.
  • Use 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) for all HCDP online accounts when available.
  • Do not share security protocols that are in place with anyone outside of HCDP.
  • Do not send any sensitive documents or internal communications through unencrypted email. You can send through various secure methods online like DropSecure. You can also send messages and attachments with Gmail’s confidential mode to help protect sensitive information from unauthorized access.
