Surfside Beach, S.C., October 4, 2017 Robin Gause will be announcing her run for South Carolina House of Representatives, House Seat 106. The announcement will take place at 11:30a.m. at the Surfside Beach Town Hall building located at 115 US-17 BUS, Surfside Beach, SC 29575.
Robin Gause has lived in the Burgess community for the past 20 years. Robin Gause worked within the health care profession for over 30 years. She has served the public and the community as a member or board member of the Family Outreach, a nonprofit dedicated to practical support of low- income pregnant women; Phoenix Renaissance, a nonprofit dedicated to low-income children; Waccamaw Housing Inc., a nonprofit providing housing for the mentally impaired; Vice President of the Myrtle Beach Branch NAACP, dedicated to civil rights; South Carolina State Hispanic Caucus, which advocates for the Hispanic, Latino, and Mexican community; Precinct President for Marlow 3, for the Democratic Party of Horry County, and past candidate for Horry County Council 2016.
“We have change taking place in South Carolina, and we need representatives who can acknowledge the changes for the betterment of our city and state,” says Robin Gause. “I am a vessel for those who can’t speak for themselves, the young, the old, the sick, and the poor, for those who are tired of asking for a seat at the table, but want to build a new table in a new house.”
Robin Gause is married to Samuel Gause, with six children between them; five girls and one boy, 10 grandchildren, and three on the way.
