Horry County Democrats are ready to work for positive change in our communities. There are two important new ways for you to participate.
HCDP needs to speak with one voice. A new Public Relations Committee will set and implement a communications strategy to ensure a consistent message in our press and media releases, our newsletter, website and social media, and by encouraging community members as public spokespersons, especially as “Mighty Pens” through letters to the editor.
Join us for our initial PR Committee meeting on Thursday, January 19 from 10 AM to Noon at the Horry County Democratic Headquarters located at 909 Norman Alley in Conway.
Volunteers are key to the success of Horry Democrats. A new Volunteer Committee will recruit, welcome, and refer people who are new to the Party to a variety of opportunities. Committee members will inform prospective volunteers about HCDP’s goals, our precinct organization efforts, communications vehicles, and the numerous clubs, interest groups and committees with which to get involved – from registering and motivating voters to attracting qualified candidates, advocating on key issues, and fundraising to support our efforts.
Join us for our initial Volunteer Committee meeting on Friday, January 20 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Horry County Democratic Headquarters located at 909 Norman Alley in Conway.
