Horry County Deserves Democrat Representation on the County Council

As Horry County continues to grow rapidly, it’s critical that our local government reflects the diverse values and interests of all residents. Currently, every member of the Horry County Council is a Republican, which leaves a significant portion of our community without a voice in important decisions that affect our daily lives.

We urgently need Democrats to step up and run for office to bring balance to the council. Democratic representation is essential to ensure that policies promoting economic fairness, environmental protection, affordable housing, healthcare access, and quality public education are championed.

Brian Palmer for Horry County Council (District 10)

Brian Palmer is the only candidate currently running against Horry County Council Member Danny Hardee in District 10 in the upcoming November election.

As a dedicated husband, father, and retired Navy veteran with 24 years of service, Brian brings a wealth of experience in leadership and a deep commitment to the community. His strong background in team leadership and his collaborative approach make him an ideal candidate to represent District 10.

Brian needs our strongest support in the upcoming election to bring balanced and effective representation to the Horry County Council.

Democrats in Horry County are committed to addressing the unique challenges our community faces, from infrastructure improvements to protecting our coastline. With the right leadership, we can foster a local government that truly works for everyone, not just a select few.

If you believe in these values and want to see a more inclusive and equitable Horry County, now is the time to get involved. Consider running for office or supporting Democratic candidates who will fight for the needs and aspirations of all residents.

Together, we can ensure that Horry County’s future is bright and representative of its entire population!
